I have been a National Trust member for years and have always paid for family membership by monthly direct debit. We use it a lot and it’s well worth the membership.
But today I discovered that I could get an essential companion because Eden has a disability, which means we have 1 adult, the children and an essential companion, rather than two adults, which takes the cost down from £12.20 to £7.60 per month. Bargain!
The best part of this story is that I emailed to enquire about this through the website and they have switched the membership and sorted it all out for me! Easy!
We love being NT members and make a point of visiting different places around the country. It’s always a calm day out, lots of nature, long walks, Eden loves gathering sticks and climbing trees. There’s always lots of space and you can avoid other people- which can be lovely and feels like freedom!
Check out the membership options here or email enquiries@nationaltrust.org.uk to set up your membership and get out exploring!
Enjoy! Amy x
