Covid Christmas and our 2020 Festive Traditions

So Christmas 2020 is clearly going to be a challenge! Understatement of the year, I’m sure, but I am determined – amidst this cloud of COVID doom- to make Christmas feel as normal as possible for the kids.

So far, ahead of this year’s Christmas, we have put up extra decorations, bought extra (little) presents, done lots of festive arts and crafts, read lots of Crimbo stories, watched Christmas movies with extra chocolatey hot chocolate and dressed up as elves to sing Christmas songs… all to make sure that we are feeling festive and that COVID Crimbo 2020 isn’t a completely miserable scroogey, grinchy flop!

This is a snapshot of our Christmas traditions – in usual times we would have lots of visits and day trips over the festive break – but lots of these things can be done at home, with the family, in familial isolation… oh, joy! 🙂

Merry Christmas to you and yours! Amy x
